Boresha FAQ's

Q: What is thermogenisis?
A: The process of heat production through metabolic stimulation. (In other words, your body produces heat after you ingest the product).

Q: What does low glycemic mean?
A: Slower rates of digestion and absorption of the food’s carbs. (Basically, it takes longer for low glycemic foods to turn into sugar). This is better for you because it allows your body to use the sugar as it comes in throughout the day instead of having sugar sitting in your system for a period of time not being used.

Q: What is the Glycemic Index of the BSkinny?
A: In general, coffee does not have a glycemic index because it does not contain any carbohydrates [unless sugar/milk, etc. is added]. The BSkinny has a very low glycemic index because the Skinny Science Blend has very small amounts of carbohydrates.

Q: What is sucralose and why do some of the products contain it?
A: Sucralose is an artificial sweetener that contains zero calories. It is approximately 600 times sweeter than sugar, and is used in very small amounts (nano grams) as a masking agent to help mask the taste of the thermogenic formula. It is completely safe given the minute amount used and has no negative impact on a person’s system. It has been accepted by many food regulatory entities such as the FDA.

Q: What is buffered caffeine?
A: Buffered caffeine programs the body to burn fat and to create maximum energy, instead of triggering it to store fat.

Q: Why are the coffee beans infrared roasted?
A: With infrared roasting, the beans are exposed to indirect heat [no open flame] so it allows us to evenly roast the bean from the outside in, completely converting the acids into sugars. The bean is caramelized, locking in the flavor and the aroma which provides for a very smooth finish with no bitter taste.

Q: Is the BSkinny organic?
A: No. However, it is made using our Boresha Private Estates organic fair trade coffee. The thermogenic additive, although all natural, is not certified organic.

Q: What should be done if an unusual reaction is experienced after taking one of the products?
A: It is highly recommended that a physician is consulted. Boresha does not have a medical degree nor is qualified to answer medical questions.

Q: Why do some of the BSkinny bags have more air than others?
A: How much air the bag has in it is due to the off-gassing of the coffee. The amount of off-gassing is based on the timing between the grinding, roasting and packaging. Off-Gassing occurs after the beans are roasted, as they continue to release gas for a short period of time. Because of this, once the bag is
sealed, the gas is trapped and has nowhere to go, thus causing the bag to inflate depending on the
amount of off gassing. This has no effect on the freshness of the coffee.

Q: Why can the BSkinny Latte be consumed as much as desired as opposed to the BSkinny and the NuvoGene Tea?
A: This is primarily because there is a small percentage of coffee in the Latte compared to the overall contents of the package.
